6686 Sports reported on November 14 that in the 9th round of Group A of the World European Preliminaries, Northern Ireland played Slovakia away.
Before the game, Northern Ireland coach Michael O'Neill was full of confidence. "Although the team is suffering from injuries, the whole team is full of confidence in the upcoming two qualifying matches."
It is worth noting that if Northern Ireland wants to retain the expectation of directly qualifying, it must strive for two consecutive wins.
Coach O'Neill particularly emphasized, "It can be confirmed that all the players currently selected for the national team are in good health, and the (final round) ending the journey in front of the home team fans has special significance."
